Herbal Body Soak
Makes 28 ounces
Bay leaves and marjoram are known for stimulating circulation while easing achy muslces and stiff joints. Marjoram, which is related to oregano, has a very relaxing scent.
1/4 cup dry bay leaves
1/4 cup dry marjoram leaves
1 cup baking soda
2 cups fine sea salt or epsom salts
1 to 2 drops tea tree essential oil
Crush the dried herbs in a coffee grinder or by hand in a glass bowl until you have a fine green powderish mixture. In a larger bowl, mix together herbsm soda and salt, stirring well. Store the mixture in an airtight container. To use, pour 1/2 cup of the blend into your bath and enjoy. If you choose to have this mixture near your bathtub for easy acsess be sure and store it in a container that has a rubber fitting lid so that no moisture can get into the soak.
