Indulge in chocolate innocently

Chocolate is one of life’s simple pleasures and you should enjoy it without the guilt. By making your own chocolate body products you can induce innocently and still get your chocolate fix. Here are three simple recipes to try in your own kitchen.
• Chocolate/Peppermint Lip Balm
Makes: 1 Ounce
1-1/2 tsp. grated cocoa butter
1/2 tsp. coconut oil
1/2 tsp. grated dark chocolate or cocoa powder
2 drops peppermint essential oil
1-1/2 tsp. beeswax
Place beeswax and cocoa butter into a microwave-safe dish and microwave on high for about 1 minute or until the beeswax has melted. Add the coconut oil and the essential oil and stir to combine. Stir in the grated chocolate until dissolved, microwave an additional minute if needed. Pour immediately into tubes or lip balm containers and allow to cool at room temperature.

• Chocolate/Peppermint Cuticle Cream
Makes: 1 Ounces
1 tsp. cocoa butter
2 tbs. coconut oil
4 drops peppermint oil
Heat cocoa butter and coconut oil in a microwave-safe dish till melted. Stir in peppermint essential oil until well blended.
Pour into clean containers and use daily on your cuticles. Never cut your cuticles. They are there to protect your nail beds and should never be cut away or trimmed in any way.

• Chocolate/Lavender Bath Powder
Makes: 16 ounces
2 cups chocolate milk, make sure it is organic
1 tbs. honey
2 tbs. castile soap
3 drops lavender essential oil
Stir together the ingredients but the lavender oil and heat in a microwave-safe dish if ingredients are hard to combine. Add the peppermint essential oil and stir to combine completely. Pour into bathwater as the water is running and relax.
