Hair growth is a natural occurring event with the body, and hair on our skin is there for the main purpose of keeping us warm. When hair is in the appropriate places there is no needs for removal, but as human’s evolve more and more hair on the skin isn’t necessary and at times may become unsightly. Here are some of the top brands and what they promise with hair removal. Some are waxes while others are simple creams.

1. Veet®: Promises that creams and lotions can give a better shave as well as waxing. They state their product will dissolve the hair’s protein therefore leading to softer more supple hair growth when it grows back compared to shaving alone.

2. Silk’n®: The Silk’n SensEpil promises to provide hair removal with a flash of light that won’t hurt the eyes that will remove the hair with a quick pulse of HPL (Home Pulsed Light). The light sends a pulse to the hair shaft and therefore removing the hair.

3. Nair®: Nair promises a cream or lotion that can literally dissolve the hair below the skin surface for a shave that they guarantee will last longer than shaving. The Nair waxing will give the same result as a salon but at a fraction of what it would cost in the salon to get the same treatment. Nair is sold at supermarkets and convenience stores area-wide.

4. Zeno: This waxing technique is for men and offers that a hair removal lotion that works in the same manner as the other creams that dissolve hair. This is specially formulated for men and gives the fresh clean feeling of shave but helps to minimize friction and give softer feeling skin over all.
