Putting on makeup may be something that is second nature to a lot of women and even some men, but do you know the basics of applying makeup or do you just apply it as you are running out the door in the mornings or while you are sitting in gridlock traffic?
The basics of makeup is really a simple one, and it may seem like a lot, but when it comes to special occasions you always want to look your best. Here are the basics in makeup application. Some of these items can be used on occasion and don’t need to be applied every time. Add these to your makeup arsenal and see how great of a face you can put forward.
1. Foundation or tinted moisturizer: It’s best to use a light foundation; you don’t want to look as though you are indeed wearing a mask. And a tinted moisturizer with SPF is best.
2. Concealer: This can be used on occasion. You only want to use concealer to hide blemishes that really stick out.
3. Loose or pressed powder: You can have this on you at all times. Powder is a great thing to use for touch up and to cover oils throughout the day as well.
4. Cream or powder blush: Cream blush is making a comeback so experiment and see which one works best for your.
5. Bronzer: This can be used all over the face.
That’s the basics in makeup. A few others to follow with are as follows.
• Eye pencil
• Eye shadow
• Eye liner
• Mascara
• lash curler
• Lipstick
• Lip pencil
• Lip gloss
