The wax candles will burn about three times longer than the traditional wax candles and the wicks don’t need to be trimmed every time they are burned as well, which is another plus in the gel candle. The gel candles throw the scents the same as the traditional wax candles so it fills the room just the same.
The Newport Bay Candle Company offers the traditional wax and gel candles in the convenient glass container with a lid and the 8oz. square for under $11. The other sizes are a 13 ounce round with a lid for under $14, 20 ounce round with a lid for under $20 and the 20 ounce round with a lid for under $25.
The company even offers custom refill options of either your own container or a container offered by them for as little as $1.50 for about 10 ounces and every ounce after that fills at 75 cents per ounce with a max filling of 32 ounces per container. You can ship your container to the Newport Bay Candle Company and have them fill it and ship it back to you; payment must be done before filling.
