Cider vinegar can be used for many ailments and it’s an all-natural way to take advantage of the benefits of cider. Cider is a germicide and helps to fight infection in the body and also helps to reduce inflammation. It can be taken internally and even use externally as well. It contains vitamin C and beta carotene. It can help fight free-radicals. Here are ways you can take advantage of the benefits of Cider Vinegar:
1. To make an energizing tonic: Mix 2 tsp. of cider vinegar and 2 tsp. of honey in a glass of warm water and drink the glass every morning and evening. You will feel more energized and revitalized after sic weeks of use.
2. For corns and calluses: Soak a slice of bread in cider vinegar and place the moist bread on the corn or caules and secure the piece with a cloth and wear overnight.
3. To help reduce fever: For a child who has a fever that can’t see to be reduced with a cold compress, soak a pair of their socks in cider vinegar and place on the feet. Before the vinegar dries, resoak and place on the feet once more. Repeat this process a few times.
4. For a cough remedy: Mix 5 tbs. of honey with 5 tsp. of cider vinegar, mix well and you can place in the microwave for about 10 seconds to warm the solution as well. Drink this mixture and it can help relieve coughing and hacking in a more natural way than cough syrups over the counter can.
5. To relieve chest congestion: Soak a towel in a small amount of cider vinegar and hot water. As hot as your body can stand, don’t burn your skin though. Place this compress on your bare chest for about 45 minutes or until the towel goes chilled.
