Neutrogena’s new Skin ID, what’s Your #?

by

Do you have acne? Do you have red patches on your face? Have you tried every treatment to try to rid yourself of this issue, including expensive products such as Proactiv, etc.? Well there maybe a solution that you haven’t tried, it’s called Skin ID and it’s from the makers of Neutrogena.

How Skin ID works is, you take a skin evaluation to determine what you skin problems are and what this regimen can do to balance out the issues you are having. This skin evaluation is developed by dermatologist and has been test on over 2,000 people. You first give you name, gender and your age, and then you answer a few series of questions such as your skin and acne type like oily, combination, etc. You pick out rough areas on your face and texture as well as color. Once that series of questions is done you move onto acne issues and how often you experience these break outs.

For females, it determines whether you cycle is an issue or not. Followed by the products you currently use, products you have used in the past and your makeup usage as well. For men it asks about sweat issues and whether you touch your face a lot or not.

The current location where you live, as well as your sunlight exposure follows up the questioning, and then your skin care regimen is shown. You can order this regimen right off the site for about $40 and it is said to help combat many of the issues you maybe having with your skin and breakouts. Anyone age 12 and under to 65 and older can take this evaluation. Click here to start your evaluation.

SkiniD personalized acne treatment, Not a chance! If the recommended products don’t work the sales agents tell you to retake the evaluation in case you got the wrong products! If it’s too drying they tell you to cut back on the ‘acne treatment’ as its too strong.

And to go from bad to worse it seems like now the SkinID 60-day money-back guarantee doesn’t apply beyond the first refill kit. And did you know that even if you do return the first or second kit for a refund it can take up-to 30 business days after they receive it before they will even issue a refund.

The other regular Neutrogena acne products (@$18.99) are just as good as SkiniD(@$39.90+shipping) at with a new ‘brand’

    Hi Reader,

I’m sorry you had such an issue with this line of product. Maybe you can contact Neutrogena directly and let them know your concerns. After all, Neutrogena is the maker behind this product as well. They should be able to give you a full refund on the product directly from the company. Now if you went through a third party or a middle man and bought the products I don’t know how lucky you will be in getting a refund. Contact Neutrogena and let them know how you feel otherwise.

In all fairness to the company though, just because the product didn’t work for you, doesn’t mean it won’t work for someone else, but thanks for stopping by Wax and Bubbles and voicing your opinion about the product, feedback is always welcome on a particular product I post about.

DO NOT ORDER THIS PRODUCT FROM THE WEBSITE!!! I placed an order over 2 months ago, never received it, have called customer service numerous times and still have not received my credit back on my card. I found out a few weeks ago that they offer the same products w/ the same percentages of treatment in them at the drug store (same brand) for cheaper - just not the “Skin ID” personalization website gimmick. I purchased the same three items this site recommended for me in the local Rite Aid for about 1/3 the price! Same Benzyl Peroxide percentage and all. Do yourself a favor and go to the drug store or Wal Mart to get these products…it’s the exact same thing.
