Oils to Help Cure Some Common Ailments (B)

by

1. Backaches: Massage painful areas of the back with wintergreen essential oil, cinnamon essential oil and ginger essential oils that have been mixed in aloe vera gel.

2. Bad Breath: Chewing fennel seeds can help keep the intestinal tract clean. Peppermint teas serve the same purpose as well. Take a few drops of eucalyptus oil and mix it in a glass of water. Gargle and rinse for a natural mouthwash.

3. Bug Bites and Stings: Apply chamomile or lavender to the bug bite. Drinking fresh cilantro juice or applying a wet compress of cilantro to the affected area will reduce the inflammation.

4. Burns: A few drops of lavender oil on the burn speeds the healing time. Aloe vera is also a great slave for burns if it’s applied liberally to the burned area a few times a day.

5. Bursitis: Barley grass can soothe injured tendons and bursae, just add some to your salad everyday. Pineapple can also help relieve some of the inflammation.

6. Bronchitis: Inhaling eucalyptus oil in a pan of hot water three minutes every few hours during a day can help clear passages and loosen congestion in the bronchial tubes. Taking Vitamin C also helps in a great way throughout the entire year.

7. Boils: Dilute chamomile or the oil of bergamot and apply it directly on the boil twice a day to help dissolve the boil or bring it to a head.

If any of these illnesses become too great to cure with essential oils, consult your doctor immediately. This is only a guideline, this list is not meant to help treat or cure any illness. For more serious injuries, seek professional help immediately.
